The main locality is Morbegno, a full of live and industrious small town, which boasts an interesting history today, as when it had important commercial trades with the Republic of Venezia, across the San Marco Pass. The side valleys, Val Tartano, Valli del Bitto which have given their name to the famous Bitto cheese, and the small but very hospitable Valgerola Ski area, are jewels to discover. On the north side lies the Costiera dei Cech full of terraced vineyards and Valmasino, a real paradise on earth for hikers.
